Video: American Hipster Presents – Ishknits

American Hipster  is combing through the United States to find some of the most creative, ambitious and unique people in 10 of the nations biggest cities.  “American Hipster Presents” is a video series that features 5 trend setters  in each city that the AH team visits. They profile people who live through their passions in the areas of artfood, fashion, music and social life. The aim is to showcase the creativity of America’s young generation while debunking some of the negative perceptions attached to the term “hipster.”

Ishknits was just featured in Philadelphia, PA for her Yarn Bombing Art that always captivates the City of Brotherly Love. In the video, Ishknits talks about what made her start Yarn Bombing, shows us her process and talks about the feminist connection to her art in the male dominated world of street art.

Paavo serves as a fun host & interviewer to the artists featured in these videos, which makes them entertaining, educational and inspiring all at once! With San Francisco, CA and Austin, TX already checked off their list, there will be 3 more talents featured in Philadelphia before American Hipster moves onto their next city.

Check back with GJ for more of the “American Hipster Presents” series!
