This is an awesome project by Shepard Fairey / OBEY Awareness, Wayne Kramer (from the band MC5) and Jail Guitar Doors. A non-profit organization, Jail Guitar Doors supply’s prisoners with instruments and music guidance so that they can create a positive change in their lives. The goal is that through music, inmates can rehabilitate to a certain point of happiness and normalcy before re-entering to life beyond the concrete walls. This video is Part I of an unknown amount features Shepard Fairey and Wayne Kramer talking about their feelings about Jail Guitar Doors and why the project struck a chord with them. (pun intended)
