Once a year, an interactive & creative installation takes over the popular Quartier des Spectacles in Montreal, Canada. This year, 21 Balançoires (21 Swings) took center stage. The project was the brain child of the design company Daily Tous Les Jours, and aimed to drive home the notion that greater things can be achieved when working with others rather than alone. When passerby’s took to the swings, the programmed sounds from xylophones, pianos, and other instruments would play. The swings would also light up once in use. There was even a Secret Mode that was triggered when all 21 swings were being used at once!
