New Banksy in the UK

(Artist, Banksy. Photo and rights via)

A few weeks ago GJ brought you Banksy’s new Origami piece and now he brings us another great piece called, “Paint to Escape” in Taunton, UK.

**UPDATE**: It turns out that this piece is a FAKE Banksy! Street Art News dug deeper into the new work and discovered it is NOT authentic.

  1. This guy is real– I had the p— scared out of me by “Obey” in London 2009, so I appreciate art that actually makes an impression.
Thought it was posted by some committee or the rulership of the UK (not really, but wasn’t sure if it was official).
    That’s the idea, I guess.

  2. I realize Obey is by S. Fairey, I was trying to say, actually, that street art in general can make quite an impression.
