New Blu Mural in Spain

(Artist, Blu. Photo and rights via)

Italian artist, Blu, traveled to Melilla, Spain to create yet another powerful mural. Melilla is a small city that geographically is a part of Africa, but politically is a part of Spain. This mural comes near the border of Melilla and Morocco where there are thousands of business transactions that occur everyday and involve people importing Spanish goods to Africa and in turn selling those goods. This quote dug up from Street Art News sums up the murals purpose perfectly:

“We came looking for liberty, but this is a prison. What have we done? Every day we wait for a solution. We are suffering. We have nothing now. A prison sentence is definite. This is endless.” – – Ali Achet
