Brandalism – Taking Over British billboards

England has been ambushed by the Brandalism Project. Brandalism is a large-scale project going on throughout England where artists are taking over billboards. So far the cities that have had their billboards hijacked are Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London. The art-over-ads take over has employed the help of dozens of artists from all around the world. So far, 8 countries are represented in this project. Self described as a “collaborative subvertising project“, there has been over 35 billboard take overs with fantastic art work from talented artists such as Jordan Seiler, OX, Ron English, Cleon Peterson, Paul Insect and Know Hope just to name a few.
