Be Grateful For All Things

(Artist, Unknown. Photo and rights via)

This new message found in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York seems to be from the same people who brought up this great message two months ago. For this one, the message has positive intent and reads, “Let go of time. Let go of complaint. And be grateful for all things.”

However, the positive sentiment was met with some pessimism as someone wrote underneath the message, “Surely you’re joking. If not, wake up.

Does this piece have the right intentions but fall short of reality? Or should we all really just try to only focus on the positives at all times?

Any idea where in Williamsburg Brooklyn this is? (like a street address/intersection?) Would love to see it in person when i go visit NY

I remember seeing it in Brooklyn when I got dinner and walking back to the Bedford Ave stop, so I am guessing it was somewhere on Driggs Ave, between S3rd and N6th streets. Hope this helps!
