We have not heard from Ludo since May so it was nice to see the French street artist back at it in the streets of Paris, France this weekend.  This piece was fittingly entitled, “Beastie” by Ludo. It serves as a tribute to fallen hip-hop legend MCA and is a recreation of the classic 1986 Beastie Boys album cover from “Licensed to Ill.

Last week we showed you Shepard Fairey’s new “Rise Above” mural in Paris, France and told you it was the artists largest mural in Paris to date.  This video is an interview with Shepard Fairey about that very mural!

The Last item in our Weekend Round Up is an UPDATE concerning our GJ Project Etsy Shop. We have added new accessories; including stylish Knitted Bracelets and a Knitted Cell Phone Case. Check out these updates and all of our other products HERE!

Check out the Images Of The Week after the jump!

GJ x Laser 3.14 – Every Day Is A Powerful Day

LASEReveryday4 LASEReveryday5

Part II of our Collaboration For A Cause series features the work of Amsterdam’s street poet, Laser 3.14.

The quote “Everyday is a Powerful Day” serves as a reminder that each day holds tremendous value and should be cherished as if it were your last. Our motivation for this design is to represent the One Day At A Time mentality that all the brave people fighting cancer must face.

This will be the third year we will participate in the grass roots charity bike ride, Pelotonia. It is the single largest biking event in the United States. 100% of proceeds from the purchase of this shirt will go towards fundraising for cancer research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James).

Both Men’s and Women’s shirts are available, printing on 50% Cotton/50% Polyester blend t-shirts.
